I know, the title makes me sound like some self-entitled f**k; please forgive me if I am going to sound elitist in this little rant of mine. I thought I could get over this but I really can't, and seeing everyone talk about it this in the past week has triggered a slew of strong emotions inside me that I seriously can't bottle up any further.


I'm a student from RI and my school has an insanely good track record when it comes to acing PW. I've done my due diligence, as well as put both heart and soul into this f**king piece of shit of a subject. I carried my teammates whenever they were busy. I have consulted my teacher on countless occasions (kudos to her because she's really nice and previously helped many score distinction for it).

So, unlike many who have something to blame - be it their school's low distinction rate, their inept teacher or simply their own glaring lack of personal effort, I have none. It makes things even worse because nothing went wrong, yet I still ended up with the much dreaded B grade... in a school where that puts you among the minority of minorities!​

Simi is project work? Uncle ancient liao air level take many donkey years ago. Is it like do research on your fav topic, say pornhub?

I believe that the RI in the 2000s, is very different from the RI of the 1970s, partly because it is probably that in the past, any student whether financially poor or not, is able to get to RI, as long as their results are above average, or an excellent soccer or rugby player.

If he can't do well in PW, this clearly shows that he's just a nerd who's good at mugging and is not ready to join the workforce. The examiners were not impressed with his presentation and performance. He should be happy with a B grade. I would have given him an F.

no doubt on that.. the present day RI is no longer the RI of the bras basah era... :geek:

Your time no CECA. Now CECA fake degree is doing better than RI in the job market. Many top bankers, are not RI students, but CECA imported "talent". So far, other than being a PAPER GENERAL, I have not heard of any RI students making extra-ordinary performance in private sector.

Bras Basah Road is the best.
I prefer the old-school grounds, than the modern one at Grange Road, with a swimming pool, squash courts, track, etc.

ghim moh was a temporary, while waiting for the TOP at RI Grange... they need to move out from bras basah as the prime land was already sold ... prior to this move, there's heavy lobbying from the old boys against this move out from BB... finally i think...LKY had to stand in to cool the tension :geek:..

I recall that we walked from Bras Basah Road to Grange Road.
I did not go to Ghim Moh.
