1. He lives alone in a 3 room HDB flat. He's never married. Maybe his strong body odour doesn't make him attractive to women.
2. When I visited him the other day, I asked him why he perpetually closes all the windows and doors in his flat. He tells me he prefers it this way so that dust doesn't come into the flat and he doesn't need to clean the flat so often. Less cleaning save more money, he says.
So I ask him how does he breathes or keeps cool in this current hot weather.
He says he set up a table and chairs along the common corridor. When he feels warm in the day, he will sit outside his corridor to cool down.
And if he's hot again, he will go out and spend more time sitting in his "self extended living room", along the corridor, rinse and repeat every few hours.
3. I asked if he is afraid that his table and chairs get stolen as it is outside his flat. He says no worries as those items are picked up from the rubbish dump in the housing estate.
Are all Sammyboyer Uncles like my uncle this crazy?
