What would happen if boss suddenly die ? Any business continuity plan? If boss were to die tomorrow, what would happen to this forum ? I am only worry if we cannot continue to chit chat and I never mean to curse boss Sam Leong

Didn't notice anything wrong what time was it when you experienced the glitch?

This could well happen because I go cycling every saturday and cycling on the roads is more risky than Covid-19.

80km to 100km. There is no flat ride in Auckland. It is either hilly or very hilly.
That's quite a workout. And you do this every saturday, I am impressed. Yeah, hills and mountains are all over the NZ landscape. Picturesque too, which makes the ride more pleasant. I have pretty much stopped cycling. Not the same anymore with increased traffic everywhere (vehicular and human).

Did 75km and just got back. Glad to survive another ride on the roads. Like I said earlier it is more dangerous than Covid-19.

Tomorrow is coffee ride 45km only at an easy pace.

May I know how long you sustain your maximum heart beat (220-x) in your 75km ride?

Based upon that formula my theoretical max heart rate would be around 158. However this figure is not reality. My max is about 170. The formula is only a rough guide.

The only time I would reach that heart rate would be in the last 2 to 3 minutes of a long climb ie 15 minutes or more. For most of the duration of the effort it would be around 145 to 150 which is the rate at FTP.

The average heart rate for a 3 hour ride would be around 135 to 140.

I've been riding for 3 decades. If it was dangerously high I would have blown a gasket by now. :) In the good old days I could go above 200.

My resting heart rate is 48.

That's really very good. At your age, you are able to sustain a continuous anaerobic heart rate of 135 to 140 for the whole duration.

As for me, I try to achieve 10% maximum heart rate, 75% to 80% anaerobic heart rate, and 10% to 15% aerobic heart rate. My workout duration is minimum 1 hour, sometimes 2.5hours. I try to do 5x a week. In a good week, I can achieve 5x. On a busy week, 3x to 4x

It shows you are extremely fit for your age. My resting heart rate hovers around 55 or thereabouts.
