MotoGP we almost lost Rossi

Motor gp in sepang attracts more crowds than F1.mostly youth who rides bikes. Rempits,

amazing isn't it? don't know how much closer you could cut it than that. Born under a lucky star?

He got back on the bike 30 minutes after that...

If more people watch motoGP it's because there is actually a race on.

I used to be big F1 fan but I have not bothered watching for the last 15 years because it has become a procession. Ever since it started to become all about aerodynamics rather than driving skills it has been really boring. When a car's handling is so affected by dirty air it becomes almost impossible to overtake.

Winning a race now comes down to tire management and pit stop strategy plus the roll of a dice factor which is the safety car. Yawn.

By that token, do you watch Moto2 and Moto3? Far more interesting.

Yes I do and Karting too!
Karting televised? I had no idea...

I was really into watching MotoGP back when it was 2 strokes and besides watching Rossi romp to victory, I would always be on for the 125 and 250cc.

The 125cc had different leaders at different points of the lap!

I stopped watching F1 after Senna at Imola.

We have karting on Sky sport in NZ. And even if a race is not telecast it is always available on youtube a few hours later.

I used to race karts but lost my nerve after a few brushes with death.

ah youtube. why didn't I think of that?

must be because I turned my back on racing 10 years ago...

I was an F1 turned MotoGP fan since many years back when F1 meant Ferrari1st. Nowadays can change name to M12 (Mercedes 1-2). These days, with Marc Marquez arm broken, it's actually more open and exciting. That guy is a scary beast and should start at last row in every race to make it fun. He'll catch up in no time.

Same like Rossi when he was younger.
He always overtook the 1st rider right at the last or 2 laps.
I used to like Casey Stoner, he was so good with his Ducati, but he retired early.

amazing that the steamrolling bike cartwheeled across the face of Rossi in the middle of a corner and narrowly missing Vinales who was just a wheel diameter in front of Rossi.

if Rossi was just a fraction of a second closer to Vinales, it would have been horrendous.

Thank the motorcycling gods that both escaped unhurt.

The people who run F1 are totally clueless, even took away the only item worth watching - the grid girls!

lesson learnt, should re-design the circuit.
