I think what people are angry about is not her attitude because many youngsters are like this nowadays, "it is all about me". What makes people (including me) outrage is how can the event judges be selecting her to represent Singapore, it is like there is no more valid candidates for the job.

The comments from the organizer did not help neither. "Singaporeans did not pay for the pageant" was their comments, they are saying that Singaporeans have no right to tell the organizer that they need to find a better candidate.

While her attitide is a problem, we should just spare her for the time being.

I agree with you. She should not be representing Singapore. At the same time, I feel that it is the organizer's fault that she slipped through the system. I already find it strange that she managed to get Miss World Singapore with her level of English. Further more, have they even put "have you been convicted of any crime?" question in the application form? There is something seriously wrong with the selection system.

The crown is already presented to her and she should keep it. However, ERM Marketing (Which I find to be very arrogan ) should let the 1st runner up to go for Miss World contest instead.

Meanwhile, Singapore should probably start a Miss Yellow Ribbon contest.

Anyway, anyone who uses bipolar disorder as an excuse for irresponsible behaviour ought to be locked away.

I once knew this person who hid behind the sickness whenever he committed a crime. Like Lepard Preens, he stole and blamed his illness rather than himself. He cheated on his galfriend, and he blamed his disorder.

The only thing that was out of order was his fucking brain, and his inability to come to terms with it.
