kindergarten and pre-school kids also think cotton cums from sheep, after they are taught to glue cotton balls to sheep on paper.

Perhaps he was thinking of silkworms for propagating silky masks
even in sericulture, the silk growing from mulberry to yarn ,though china was the pioneer but Japan leads in technology and surprisingly Switzerland is the top silk trading country ...that how global network works ...that's how till today its Africa that produces a lot of our agricultural product but entirely controlled elsewhere ...in short ,it's not profitable to be a producer or grower these days

Bro Chun Sing admitted that he misspoke because he had insufficient sleep.

what kind of scholar he is ?
using natural fiber from animal such as sheep and silk worm for surgical procedure ?????!!!! ....natural hair or fiber we call are coated naturally ,...for eg silk yarn with serisin. a natural chemical coated by the silk worm .this coatings is not only allergic to some people but if not washed ,bleached and carded carries a host of living thing ...but not synthetic fiber like polyester...and cotton being an agricultural product does not suffer like wool or silk ...he better go back to school

There are different grades but the softest and the most expensive is the undercoat.
not really lah ,yes ,for making into yarn but there is another variety derived for make up brushes ...you see all those soft and sturdy brushes used by make up artists ...they come from goat and sheep too ...they are harvested by hand and tied neatly into bundle by hand ..the most expensive material from these animals

Cashmere wool, usually simply known as cashmere, is a fiber obtained from cashmere goats, pashmina goats, and some other breeds of goat. It has been used to make yarn, textiles and clothing for hundreds of years. Cashmere is closely associated with the Kashmir shawl, the word "cashmere" deriving from an anglicisation of Kashmir when the Kashmir shawl reached Europe in the 19th century from Colonial India. Common usage defines the fiber as wool, but it is finer, stronger, lighter, softer and approximately three times more insulating than sheep wool.[1] Both the soft undercoat and the guard hairs may be used; the softer hair is reserved for textiles, while the coarse guard hair is used for brushes and other non-apparel purposes.

the coarse hair for brushes are painting brushes ..not used anymore ...but me talking about make up brushes ...it has to be natural ,firm and soft ..a quality not easy to achieve as it is used on delicate skin
