Why everyone think hkies can only run to Malaysia or Singapore? I remember I watched tvb channel recommending places for retirement for middle class hkies. Costa Rica was a popular country, there a healthy hongkies majority Chinatown, stable nation, low standards of living and a thriving economy. The show also recommended a couple South America countries that already have a healthy Chinese community that were descendants of the coolie era.
Hongkongers should move to Mudland, specifically Penang and KL. Penang Chinese and m&ds are now 50-50. they would make the 2 cities Chinese majority. more hardworking enterprise driven Hongkongers good for Mudland economy.
