Seorang lelaki yang mendakwa pengamal perubatan Islam menjadi tumpuan selepas mengaku mampu menangkap virus penyebab Covid-19 dan mengurungnya dalam botol. Menerusi Facebook, individu berkenaan menunjukkan tiga rakaman video sedang menjalankan rawatan terhadap seorang pesakit. "Saya telah menangkap dan mengurung (bukan selamanya) Convid-19 ke dalam botol. Botol ini saya isi air. Saya simpan dalam freezer (peti sejuk) bersama dengan botol air lain yang kosong dari Covid-19. "Selama tempoh 5 hari botol berisi Covid-19 tidak membeku sedangkan botol air biasa beku dalam tempoh 6 jam," katanya di Facebook. Ruqyah merupakan kaedah perubatan Islam dengan cara membaca ayat tertentu terhadap pesakit, kebiasaannya akibat perbuatan sihir atau gangguan jin. Dalam video berkenaan, lelaki bergelar ustaz itu dilihat membacakan ayat-ayat ruqyah terhadap seorang pesakit yang duduk di kerusi, sambil disaksikan beberapa individu lain. An ambulance driver was arrested by Kerala Police for allegedly raping a 19-year-old COVID-19 positive girl at Aranmula in Pathanamthitta district.
The driver has been identified as Noufal (25), a muslim.
As per the police, the test results of the alleged victim who quarantined herself at a relative's house in Panthalam had returned positive on Saturday.
