It is dangerous to ride a bicycle in Singapore, safer on a PMD. It is dangerous for pedestrians because of PMD riders...The co-relation to the two is, it is damngerous to live in Singapore. Somehow, voting for the PAP which is the best, got related...ha ha ha ha

was it in the 1970s and or 1980s (???) it was then mandatory , not now , to have bicycle lights before going to the road.

You mean the bicycle must have huge HEADLIGHTS & back lights plus rider must wear luminous clothing & be lit up like a Christmas tree? Notice that most of the fatal road accident, involves WOMAN, age over 65....conclusion, woman over 65, collecting their meagre CPF must refrain or banned from using the roads.

Why are Maseratis and other high powered cars allowed on the streets in the first place? Singapore is such a small island a Kia Picanto will serve the needs of most families. Large families can buy two Picantos.

In addition all cars should be limited to 60kph max. There is absolutely no need to go any faster on that tiny island.

- case drag on for 3-5 years or more while victim familiy no closure
- driver gets another maserati as license not suspended otherwise how is he,she going to travel (with stench of stinking public transport?)

Early morning bike rides i keep a very sharp lookout for drunk drivers.
These guys they party till morning to escape roadblocks and get caught for drunk driving. I suggest cops do the same by looking out for drunk drivers till 9am. Thats when some leave from their private rooms who knows what they consume inside. I have seen drivers falling asleep at traffic lights at 9am.

Around 3 years ago.a van lost control and went up the pavement.that pavement route is the path that i cycle to work around the same time the van lost control.i am on leave to see doctor that day.that van could have lagga me.i don know whether i heng or suay in life

When was the last time you read about a drunk driver going to jail?
