Man Becomes First Public Winner Of National Lottery Set For Life

A young LAD has become the first public winner of the National Lottery Set For Life and will now receive £10,000 every month for the next 30 years.
Dean Weymes, 24, from Peterborough, scooped the top prize after he matched five main numbers and one Life Ball while playing the new National Lottery game for the first time yesterday.
This means he will have received a whopping £3.6m by the time he turns 54.
So what big plans does he have for all that money? Well, first on his list is trip to Disneyland Paris and then he plans on doing a tandem skydive.
Dean said: "This win will mean lots of extra spending money. I am now worry free for the rest of my life.
"Everything still seems quite unreal - the news really is still sinking in.

"I cannot actually believe that I am really going to be able to do these things - and do them right now."
The budding screenwriter says he is 'living the dream' and even quit his part-time job in the transport team at Amazon.
He added: "It is just incredible. I am 24 and I am now literally set for life. Getting £10k every month allows me to start working through my bucket list.
"I have always wanted to fulfil my dream to become a script writer and this now allows me the freedom to do it.
"I didn't have to give it a second thought - I quit my current role so I can begin to work on the job I have always wanted.
"It is an incredible feeling that I will be getting £10k every month for 30 years - I literally am living the dream."

But let's hope he has better luck managing his winnings than Callie Rogers, who was the UK's youngest Lotto winner when she scooped £1.8m at the age of just 16.
Single mum Rogers, now 32, told The Mirror that the cash has now all gone - but has admitted she's never felt better, now earning just £12,000 a year as a carerand living in a £500-a-month rented home.
"I am the happiest I have ever been," she told the newspaper.
The mum of three explained how she felt she was too young to handle the pressures of winning so much money at such a young age.
"You are only 16, with all that responsibility," she said.
"At that age, you can get the best advice ever. But you are not in a position to listen. I was too young.
"Overnight I went from carefree child to adult. All these years on, it still gets dragged up."
