British national's red Harley bike stolen at popular shopping mall

JOHOR BARU: A British national lost his red coloured Harley Davidson motorcycle when it was stolen at a popular shopping mall in Taman Bukit Indah here.
Iskandar Puteri OCPD Asst Comm Dzulkhairi Mukhtar said that police received a report by the 76-year-old victim at around 5.35pm on Saturday (Aug 3).
"The victim parked and locked his Singapore-registered motorcycle, FBB 3333 K, at the shopping mall at around 12.30pm on the same day.
"However, when he wanted to leave the premises at around 4.30pm, he found his Harley Davidson CVO (Custom Vehicle Operations) Ultra Red gone, where he believed it had been stolen," he said here on Sunday (Aug 4).
He pointed out that the motorcycle has been under the victim's possession within the last 12 years, when he bought it at a price tag of SGD70,000 (RM211,377).
ACP Dzulkhairi said that the estimated loss incurred by the victim, who works as a company director, was about SGD30,000 (RM90,590).
He also added that the case was being investigated under Section 379A of the Penal Code for vehicle theft.
ACP Dzulkhairi urged those with any information relating to the incident to contact the Iskandar Puteri police district hotline number at 07-5113622 or the Johor police hotline number at 07-2212999, or lodge a report at the nearest police station.
