警方說，紅磡警署洗手間熱水爐爆炸事故，沒有可疑，相信是意外。
紅磡分區指揮官鍾雅倫說，警署內的羈留人士，事發期間已順暢疏散到另一間警署，又說紅磡警署11樓，是九龍城交通隊及職員關係組的辦公室，由於爆炸發生在深夜，無人在該樓層辦公，無人受傷，有2名司機報稱事發時路過警署對開的公主道，車輛被碎片擊中。
鍾雅倫說，紅磡警署內有幾部同款熱水爐，會聯同機電署調查和研究事件。

紅磡警署一個洗手間內的熱水爐，昨晚近11時爆炸，玻璃碎片、窗框及抽氣扇，飛墮對開的公主道，無人受傷。
九龍南當值消防區長蔡偉峯說，爆炸原因有待調查，又說涉事洗手間面積約5米乘5米，爆炸後間格牆倒塌，消防人員到場檢查後，沒有發現有氣體洩漏。
蔡偉峯說，事發後有70人自行疏散，消防出動7輛消防車、1輛救護車和35名消防員。

紅磡分區警署晚上發生火警及爆炸事故！今日(7日)晚10時54分，消防處接報何文田公主道99號紅磡分區警署，一個位於警署11樓的更衣室及洗手間發生火警，期間更傳來爆炸巨響，有窗框及玻璃碎片飛彈而出，直跌落對出的公主道行車線。多輛消防車、救護車接報趕至，消防員出動一隊煙帽隊及開動一條喉灌救。

現場消息指出，事發的更衣室及洗手間，內裏一個熱水爐發生爆炸及引起火警，由於爆炸威力巨大，多幅磚牆及大門被爆炸造成的氣流衝擊倒塌，現場一片頹垣敗瓦，消防員正在瓦礫堆中進行搜救，查看是否有人被困，同時正進一步調查事故原因，不排除有熱水爐因故障肇禍。受事故影響，警署對開一段公主道的來回線需暫時封閉，現場交通嚴重擠塞。

The police said that the accident at the Hung Hom Police Station toilet water heater was not suspicious. It is believed to be an accident.
Hung Hom Division Commander Chung Ya-lun said that the residents of the Police Station had been evacuated to another police station during the incident. They also said that the Hung Hom Police Station was on the 11th floor. It was the office of the Kowloon City Transport Team and Staff Relations Unit. In the middle of the night, no one was working on the floor. No one was injured. Two drivers reported that they had passed through the princess road opposite the police station when the incident occurred. The vehicle was hit by debris.

The water heater in a toilet in Hung Hom Police Station exploded near 11 pm last night. Glass shards, window frames and exhaust fans were thrown at the Princess Road outside.
Cai Weifeng, the head of the fire-fighting district in Jiulong South, said that the cause of the explosion was to be investigated. The area of the bathroom involved was about 5 meters by 5 meters. After the explosion, the wall collapsed. After the firefighters arrived, no gas leaks were found.
Cai Weifeng said that after the incident, 70 people evacuated themselves, and the fire engine dispatched 7 fire engines, 1 ambulance and 35 firefighters.

A fire and explosion occurred at the Hung Hom District Police Station at night! At 10:54 pm today (7th), the Fire Services Department reported to the Hung Hom District Police Station at No. 99 Princess Margaret Road, Ho Man Tin. A fire broke out in a locker room and toilet on the 11th floor of the Police Station. The frame and the glass fragments flew out and fell straight to the Princess Road.
