A bill passed by the Hungarian Parliament would criminalize efforts to help migrants and asylum seekers and curb their access to protection.

The law amends nine existing laws related to asylum, the national border, and the police. It creates a new criminal offense in the Criminal Code of “enabling illegal immigration,” which is defined to include helping asylum seekers who are “not eligible for protection,” as well as to include border monitoring, producing and disseminating information, or “network building.” If committed “regularly,” or with the aim of “help[ing] several persons,” the offense would be considered aggravated. Anyone convicted would face a sentence of up to a year in prison.

The world was a different place 100 years ago. There were no welfare payments and other perks to reward those who slipped into a country. ALL immigration was skilled based because if you had no skill you would starve to death.

A century on and immigrants can simply step into a life of luxury. They don't have to work. They get fed, housed and cared for courtesy of the tax payers of the host country.

These freeloading immigrants are no better than dogs. Stray dogs know how to sniff out a good deal too. Feed the strays daily and they won't ever leave your house.

I doubt very much if illegals get welfare upon arrival in europe except germany where refugees gets housing, food, training. And thats only because germany needs more workers. They are one million short. Plus hungarians and eastern europeans are a dominating factor why english rejected EU.

All of those arriving in Western Europe classify themselves as "refugees". It then falls upon the host country to prove that they are not which is next to impossible.

Once they are classified as "refugees" the UN Charter kicks in. The so called refugees know exactly how to play the game.

It was a bad move by the EU to have East European countries join the common market. The East Europeans are racists, embrace dictatorships and are freeloaders. They want all the perks of EU membership but do not want to share the load.

It is a matter of time before France & Germany start their own union.
