Serious What does airline travel insurance cover ?

The cost is only $30 for budget airlines - to and fro. And it covers accidents and third party damages as well. Is that possible?

So if I fly Scoot to Thailand, and I get bitten by a dog in the soi, the insurance will pay for my anti-rabies jabs ? If I drive a car and knock somebody, and my car insurance doesn't cover the third party, my travel insurance will cover ?

I think its insurance against delays and lost baggage, not much more.
