You don't need to make millions. I know many uncles & aunties who have accumulated a decent amount of shares that are giving them a dividend to live on.
20k is something most people wouldn't sneeze at.
However my exposure to Spore investments is minimal. just some Singtel stocks.
I've diversified my investments is inthe US & Malaysia markets. What I don't like about Spore is the PAP involvement in the economy. You can never predict what will happen if LHL, Ho Ching,...etc have to retire or run road? Also the laws in Spore don't give the Spore investor much protection.
