AUSTIN, Texas, July 14, 2014 — There was a time when the United States was a nation known for its strong common identity. Each morning, school children across the country recited these words: “I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all”.
But as it stands now, allegiance is divided among many flags, and the American flag is being trampled by the influx of those who are here illegally and have no allegiance to America’s flag, its Constitution, or its laws.

From her foundation, the United States has been known around the world as a nation with open arms. Any one looking for a better life and freedom was welcome to come and enjoy the experiment of a free society.
Those who were under the heavy hand of religious oppression were welcome, those who were seeking a new beginning from political oppression were welcome, as were many who were seeking wealth and fame. This Nation was built by immigrants from all points of the globe, and America has prospered by the many talents and abilities that they have brought. In return, they were willing to learn the American way, and the language.
America has always had a promise for those who are willing to follow the laws and are willing to work.
Immigrants crossed the great plains, scaled the rocky Mountains, and endured the harsh climate of the deserts with the hope of great wealth in the gold fields of California. Others brought with them the ability to turn the soil of the great plains and turn it into the bread basket of the world. Yet others helped build the railroads which crisscross the nation.
The great skyscrapers in New York were built by these Americans, the industrial age was forged by the building of steel mills which were the envy of the world.
