Recently read about CPF's accrued interest, and how one have to pay back when HDB flat is sold. If already finished paying the HDB loan, is it possible to repay the amount that was used to purchase the flat so that the accrued interest stop snow-balling? Let's say used CPF to pay for downpayment and the loan was serviced using all cash. Can one repay the CPF portion and hence stop the interest from accruing?

When you use your CPF to pay for your housing, you are screwing yourself. Instead of CPF board paying you interest, you have to pay yourself cpf interest out of your own pocket.

Sir, hahaha that's pap magic ? Clap clap clap.

yes.
you can pay back
1)the principal you withdraw from OA only
2) the accrued interest only
3) both the principal and accrued interested
4)one lump sum
5) partial sum as and when you feel comfortable.

to reduce compound interest effect (snowballing) you can try paying back portion by portion when you have spare cash.

Thank you..
