these are controlled items and heavily subsidised. this idiot bought 25 kg of rice at one go sure kenna. want cheap petrol, rice ,oil etc yet complain about jb so much. good news is less jam at least. hahahhah.
alot of these buggers are hawkers and still charge so much for hawker fares. deserve it.
should thank his lucky stars at least only confiscate and not fined and imprisoned

This jerk is really pathetic. Buy up to 25kg of rice to bring back to Sinkie Land. Why? Those average rice in JB are poorer quality with lots of impurities and are of the broken 5% and 10% types. The better quality ones are equal or even higher in prices than Sinkie Land, because of low demand.

If I were him, those 100% Thai Fragrant rice from the FAIRPRICE house brand would suffice, good quality, clean and reasonable in price.

I guess the next time, he may smuggle back 15kg of cooking oil!!!

Best rice are indian basmati. Once you have, you won't want others.
Subsidised rice are the local variety. No difference if you buy imported rice with singapore.

I like to visit JB & have my meals there whenever the fasting seasons begins because the restaurants are nice & empty. So much better than the crowds you have in Spore.
