Apparently most sinkies are part of the evil clan. The safe streets we have benefit everyone, not just a select few. Most sinkies have seen an increase in their wealth. I do not know of any sinkie people who has gone overseas to work as a cheap labour, maids, prostitutes. Many Singaporeans are ignorant, gullible and vulgar like you. The govt is a price setter and private hospitals like MT E, Gleneagles are price takers. When a medical treatment costs $10, the pap will price it at $100, claim to give Singaporeans a 50% discount and bill a patient $50. the truth is the pap has made a 400% profit from the sick. Because the pap prices that treatment at $100, it gives Mt E and Gleneagles the freedom to charge that treatment at $110 at the expense of the sick. And ignorant and silly singaporeans like you crow and shout that pap gives the sick a 50% subsidy on medical treatment,

Be wise and know the truth. Wisdom and the truth will set you free from pap bondage and propaganda.

Ngiam Tong How is right when he said: “The problem today is that PAP is a bit too elitist. . .they don’t feel for the people; overall, there is a lack of empathy.”

Most PAP ministers are far more concern about their millions dollars salary than about the people, they don't feel and empathize for the peasants. PAP ministers are paid millions and live the high life and free medical, they've lost touch with what the lowly paid peasants go through in life with expensive living and medical costs and cannot afford to retire in old age.

The last thing any of the overpaid PAP politicians want to do is offend LHL and hurt their golden ricebowl, so as Ngiam laments the political arena has become a quiet and compliant civil service to LHL, no one speaking up for the peasants.

Probably the only way to make PAP more caring and compassionate to the people is to have more opposition MPs in parliament.
