Nowadays, Shit Times don't even dare to mention the nationality anymore. One or both must be FTs. The bus driver for sure is FT from PRC. The passenger look like local Mat, or something dark skin.
Man arrested for allegedly punching bus driver after missing his bus stop
SINGAPORE - A passenger was arrested for allegedly assaulting a bus driver apparently because the driver missed his stop, reports said.
The incident happened at a bus stop along Lengkok Bahru on Wednesday (Jan 20) at around 2.54pm, police said. A 24-year-old man was arrested for voluntarily causing hurt and being a public nuisance.
The bus driver, 42, was conveyed conscious to the Singapore General Hospital.
The driver had "facial injuries and abrasion on his elbows", the Singapore Civil Defence Force said.
The passenger had pressed the bell and was prepared to get off the bus near Redhill, a witness told Shin Min Daily News. When the bus cruised past the bus stop, the passenger confronted the driver and slapped him.
The driver got out of his seat and asked to talk to the passenger outside the bus. The passenger wanted to leave then, but was held back by the driver.
He then punched the driver until his face was bloodied, the witness said.
The passenger reportedly assaulted an onlooker who took a video of the incident.
Police investigations are ongoing.
