SINGAPORE: A Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) regular serviceman was found dead at Sembawang Camp on Saturday afternoon (Nov 21).
Specialist Cadet Trainee (SCT) S Pravinraj, 20, a Supply Supervisor Trainee, was pronounced dead by Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) paramedics at about 3.10pm. He was on guard duty in the camp, the Ministry of Defence Ministry (MINDEF) said in a media statement late Saturday.
"The Ministry of Defence and the SAF extend their deepest condolences to the family of the late serviceman and are assisting the family in this time of grief," MINDEF said.
Police are investigating the incident.
