Best speaker for last night's debate.

Maybe he will stand a chance in MacPearson if the greedy WP did not insist on choping the seat with an newbie. Yao Qwee!

Impressive. Easily one of the best 3 candidates this election. He should be in parliament. Let's hope the voters vote wisely.

If they can, they will aim for Leon Perera. Why? To deter Oxford and Cambridge grads to gravitate towards the opposition. Esp WP.

simple and solid statement.

basically, if you want to retire comfortably in your home country and if you are fed up with the constant pappie screwing, then one has to vote for change.

They can't do shit. Pap does not have a monopoly on the highly educated, brilliant, and capable anymore.

That is likely to feature on their 'worry list.' Cant recall the opposition so loaded with this category of grads in the past. I think CSM played a cardinal role in this aspect. Imagine more Harvard, Princeton, Yale, LSE, Warwick et cetera in the next GE.

Yeah, CSM probably opened the flood gate. Instead of "worrying", they should ask themselves WHY? And seek to gain back support, but alas they are too proud, stubborn and disconnected to do the right thing. Now they will be punished harshly. And they deserve it.

Since 2011, the PAP has been finding it harder and harder to recruit the type of intellectual candidates that are flocking to the opposition. That's why they have no choice but to recycle deadwood generals and rear-admirals from the SAF who bring with them top-down regimentation and groupthink and nothing else.

Maybe PMO just directed a dept to study this trend and ways to arrest it from proliferating.

Some new chaps have the credentials to be office holders if they wore white. If not office holders, some of the younger ones are easily Admin Service material.

Sekali Founding Daughter decided to join the opposition just to spite her brother, Chief Natural Aristocrat? How will LHL react?

Was it you or one of the PAP IBs lurking here used to call NSP = No Substance Party?

Why all of a sudden you praised Lim Tean to the skies?

People are entitled to a change of opinion lah. I used to be wary and skeptical of CSJ, but now I hope he makes it into parliament.

Why would you want to arrest it from proliferating? Shouldn't we let it proliferate? It's good for the opposition. They can be in the opposition camp and contribute to Singapore eventually. Remember that the pap has lost its monopoly on them. They squandered the opportunity.

You forgot to mention another opposition from another Ivy League University ...
...the University of Wollongong.

Change of opinion is allowed, but must explain the reasons for the change, (which u did about CSJ), otherwise, cannot be considered "credible" but "incredible".:D
