Anyone has experience on the Cayenne Hybrid? Comes with 9 years warranty for the car and 6 years warranty for the battery. Any disadvantage compared with a non-hybrid model or anything to look out for?
Froggy... get a Lexus you won't look back.
A warranty may save you money on repairs but it does nothing for the frustration of having to put up with niggling problems caused by poor reliability.
People want cars that start every morning and run on a daily basis with no rattles, no squeaks, no leaks, no strange intermittent problems etc.
And it Thailand, the most important issue is how good the aircon is. I have never had any joy with continental cars. The air con is cool but not icy cold like the way the Japs can do it.
I was eyeing the Macan. I've decided on the NX when the time is right.
The Macan is shit.
I figured all Porsches with given names models are shit like the boxster, cayenne.....only exception maybe the panamera.....go for any 911 is best
panamera and 911 are true pedigree of porsche. macan, cayenne and all that shit are glorified volkswagen innards with luxury chassis to address the hot suv market in north america first, then sell them to other cuntries. i look at a cayenne owner as basically a tuareg owner paying a higher price for basically the same vehicle with an attas badge.
i'm seriously looking at the model x which cums out in 3-4 months.

Japanese cars just doesn't have the same sensation as German ones. Its that feeling of solidity and confidence.
To be honest, all cars feel rather detached from the road nowadays because the steering is by wire. There is no longer a direct mechanical link between the wheels on the road and the one you hold to steer. The steering is electronic and can be programmed in any number of ways.
