On Thursday, police received nine reports of ATMs being splashed with black paint. In some of these cases, debtors' notes were also discovered at the ATMs. After establishing the identities of the suspects, they were subsequently arrested on Friday.

The police were quick to get involved because DBS is a GLC.

It also shows how vulnerable the PAP & GLCs are in Spore. If the foreigners decide to go on a rampage they could plenty of financial damage to the PAP e.g. the buses, MRT, ATM, businesses like NTUC,....

The riots in little India have shown that the police may not be enough to control the millions of foreigners currently in Spore.

the smarter ones in this category will wear full-faced motorcycle helmuts with darkened visors, as wearing hoodies / masks near an atm will alarm those people withdrawing money, and also to prevent the paint from splashing on their faces.
