A 24-year-old married woman's "hobby" of prostituting came to an end when she was detained during a police raid at a hotel in Malacca, reported Kosmo!.

The Secret Societies, Gambling and Vice (D7) division detained her when she was with her customer at the hotel near Jalan Laksamana Cheng Ho on Wednesday.

She said she had been married for a year, but admitted to being involved in prostitution as a "hobby".

"I have been doing this even before I got married. My husband does not know," she said, adding that her husband was a civil servant who worked in Kuala Lumpur.

The customer she was with during the raid was her fourth for the day.

Police found six condoms and RM180 (S$67) in the woman's room.
