Work as a security officer so long, issit worth it?

Security officers work very long hours, so is it worth to have a career in security sector?
I guess it is now! They're getting 30% increase in pay!
Not bad right? At least now they're remunerated properly with the progressive wage model in place.

there are many jobs that does jackshit too but gets paid way more but i dont see anyone complaining.....one example would be the mps,or the poodle force or the President of Singapore.

Actually depends. My condo guard have a lot of things to do. He even have to take care of tennis court bookings and shit like that.

There are 2 types of security guards. 1 type do jack shit, basically just sit there as a watchman.
But the other type is doing quite a complex and heavy jobscope. They need to learn how to operate complex monitoring equipment with up to hundreds of monitoring screens. Signing in visitors at the same time, and making sure authorized visitings are approved via some softwares. Making monthly audits verifications. And much more that I am not aware of. This type of guards are seriously underpaid. An office admin job is 10 times easier.
