This new proposed bill looks like a boh gay kind of bill. What is the mandatory caning for motorists caught using handphone while driving or driving under influence of liquour or speeding dangerously?

If no bite, don't introduce the bill.

Lemme guess, vandalism minimum 5 years?

No kidding, man. When a drunkard drives a car or a motorist pays more attention to his handphone than on road users or he uses the public road as F1 race track, that car becomes a weapon to maim or kill. Caning will make such motorist more responsible behind the wheel.

Cock reasoning.

Yeah, and the FTs who riot, molest and swindle money don't get caned.

Nice sense of priorities, PAP govt. Maybe you're in your cushy jobs for too long, backside itchy, bored and nothing to do, so you sought to push through this inane legislation.

Based on your logic, we should hang everyone sentenced for drink driving, chop off the hands for theft.

Sure hope my reasoning is as cock as the bull who kills or maims someone, especially your loved ones, a friend or some one dear to you on the road due to that bull's recklessness, drink driving, etc and you will wonder why such bull is allowed on the road.

Don't use fear tactics or what ifs. Corporal punishment for a traffic offense is a joke. Where then do you stop? How about caning for the guy that ran a red light. How about speeding? 1km/h above? How about lorries that are poorly maintained? They are also a moving timebomb. Illegal stopping of vehicle will cause another vehicle to crash into you and also caused death? Caning too? Remember the case of the malaysian ah neh who stopped his truck in the middle of the expressway? How about the tipper truck driver who killed the 2 boys on pedestrian crossing? Death penalty for him?

So, i come back to my first point, where do you draw the line.

Even under martial law you cause accident you only go jail (DB).....everything also want to whip then there be no end.

Our civil servants and ministers have nothing much important things to do, thus come out that sort of stupid laws.

By your logic, then everyone has to be canned for any mistake he/she has done because every action is related with others.
For example, one unreasonable call to 999 would deprive of the chance of survival in actual emergency case, and would cause someone to die.
Then, that man who made the wrong call should be canned for causing the other to die!!!

Very funny...
