I'm simply stating the facts.

If someone accused me of stealing money when I have never done a dishonest thing in my life, I'd sue too.

If the person then apologised and admitted that his accusations were baseless and offered me compensation, I'd start proceedings to determine the appropriate amount.

Why anyone would view this as anything more than due process is beyond me.

Right. If that guy had stuck to criticising CPF rules but stopped short of accusing LHL of dishonesty or misappropriation, the PM would not have initiated legal action against him.
