.....It's hard to see what Australia/NZ can offer. Back in the early days, the British saw them as the final outpost, the frontier of the British Empire.

The Brits wanted a place to dump their convicted criminals, murderers, rapists, etc as far away from UK as possible on one way ticket. Cook founded Australia and the Brits dumped them there like sewage to start new life. It is not their final outpost or frontier of the Empire. They went on to ravage other foreign lands until the collapse of the Empire. Now the Brits are flooding SG and other Asian countries to find work, living in the heartlands among the locals, eating at hawkers' centres and poorest of the poor, they sleep on the streets in London.

Australia pros:

1. can survive on welfare
2. healthcare taken care of
3. minimum wage
4. blue collar jobs are paid better than certain white collar
5. 4 seasons- can take out winter clothes to wear
6. pension scheme good for retirement
7. cars are dirt cheap- audi a4 10 year old cost AUD 4k
8. houses are cheaper and the price include all legal paper work

The PAP government, by their unwillingness to take action against foreigners who insults sinkees and the country, has sent a message that foreigners can come in and do as they please to sinkees and will not be taken to task as long as they involve themselves with local politics.
