Gave us very good infrastructure - AT A COST. A fair government - at our COST, comprehensive savings plan -for their usage, not yours!! First class education - really good, no joke, but brought generations of confused people, world class medical facilities - AFFORDABLE, provided, you can afford, world class public housing....your ASSESts gets enhanced & making it unaffordable to buy, world class transportation system, 'still affordable'...Well trained & very productive labor force ( no joke), but sold out their workers, who had become 3rd rate workers to 3rd rate countries in their own land...You have to travel around the region to appreciate the PAP government & at the same time curse them....:rolleyes:

Er, hardly any. But they maintain their parliamentary seats every election because the citizens believe this is the group that will give them more good years. Must be so, the Straits Times and the media repeatedly drums this notion into their minds.

wrong idea.

buddha was enlightened. he initially was reluctant to preach and share his philosophy knowing that ignorant and foolish ppl would be agitated without understanding at all.

due to the requests of many sentient beings, he finally obliged and hoped his teachings would enlighten as many as possible if not this life than maybe the next or the next next to be enlightened beings and be relieved of the suffering in the samsara world.
