Recent trip back to Bangkok in Suvarnabhumbi Airport on a slope travelator going from 3rd to 4th floor with luggage on tow and WhatsApping with my 5s. Someone accidentally banged me on the back and really didn't know how it happened but my 5s dropped out of my hand over the rail and down 3 floors. On its way down I couldn't see it. So I quickly went down and look for it. I expect only two things, someone took it away and surely its broken, 3 floors.

Looked and looked and a cleaning lady saw me instinctively pointed me to a ledge. I got a man to climb outside and get it for me.

It was dirty and looked beaten. So it is the result

The phone is now bend but screen is still perfectly flat (gorilla glass I was just told). There's also a dent at the back. Other than these the phone is performing perfectly.

I'm impressed but sadden that my new phone became a banana now.

What happened to the glass screen?

This was the surprise, nothing happen. Was expecting it to at least crack after such trauma. Spoke to Tony and he told me its Gorilla Glass II very strong, guess it worked.

Seems like Space Gray is the best color if you want to hide nicks and scratches.

it's ok. you've just upgraded your 5s to the 6. the 6 will fit the curvature on your cheek, and you can have a better ear-to-mouth experience when you talk. :p
