I think it should be more as it didn't include another 50k via red cross, also the scdf team's contribution which is intangible.

That's why Malaysia and Indonesia cannot tahan sinkapore and spurn any assistance from sinkapore even though sinkapore in later years have been desperate to ingratiate itself with the Indons. 100 or 100,000 or millions it is still charity, the world doesn't owe Philippine millions and millions, they should knows they live in a natural disaster prone area.
The government has the money to buy new patrol boats ( think it is 5 for 95 millions euro) that money would be better serve to provide better Infrastructure for cities and outlying villages.

Just feel sorry for the common folks, but the elite can go be Japan/US lap doggy or whores.

Nope you are too far away, by the time you arrive will be too late..., if I cannot help myself what is the point of trying to help other.
You might better ask what is the Philippine government doing squandering away all the money, buying warships and knowing the country Do Face Natural Disaster every year, do not deserve help, they just spend 95 millions euro buying 5 warships from France, but they forgot about the children looking for scrap from garbage site.

A government willing to spend millions on Weapon of Death and Destruction does not deserve help period.

Take a learning page from China, she sure does have lot of natural disaster throughout her history, they might not be perfect but hey they help themselves first and not rely on others.....

And that fucking rich China will only pledge US$100k. Can understand their on-going dispute with the Philippines, but shouldn't they be more magnanimous when it comes to humanitarian aid?
