I had a few lessons of this. Like other martial arts, the movements themselves are not difficult but the combinations are very difficult to master. Also good is that in its current form, it trains you to use 'weapons' that are legal.

what ever happened to 天下武功出少林?

What they need to defend themselves is to grow 2 fangs, venomous one.

More fascinating is the fact that the root of Chinese Kung Fu is India. Shoaling kung fu has it's origin thru Da Mo or Bodhidharma.

五郎八卦棍 will beat all pundek martial arts.

In fact, toddy-drinking pundeks should have been practitioners of Drunken Fists. Even this is invented and mastered by the Chinese.

Pundek martial arts are best exemplified by the Bollywood fight sequences where a single punch can send the enemy over a bus and onto the roof of a high rise building.

We must acknowledge that Dharmo, the Indian Master was the founder of ShaoLin Wushu. Likewise, Buddha was an Indian. Great people these Indians of the past.

India itself was a fairly recent invention, the Buddha was born in Lumbini (current day Nepal), Bodhidharma's origin is neither recorded nor verified. Indians? :D:D:D

It was Bodhidharma from India who taught the 少林monks martial art
