The last I heard, AYG has also moved away from SDP and joined his friend TJS to network with SPP and Chiams.

That is why I wouldn't dismiss WP so easily because you might have to depend on them to nab the 2nd GRC. Otherwise we have PAP left. The rest are too small and divided even if they are led by talented people - SPP Chiams and TJS, AYG / SDP Chee and Ananth Tambayah / NSP Jeannette CA and Nicole Seah / DPP Benjamin Pwee the scholar and his group. It will boost confidence in the "3rd force" if the 4 groups came together - not very possible though.
