Yaya dog 1st round finished joint last with 6 votes. 2nd round also got 6 votes. He must have paid the 6 'supporters' (5 if he himself can vote because he will confirm vote for himself). :p

voting in ser mian is akin to handing ioc to pap...u want.? the overrun of YOG is fresh on their memory. btw he has a chio dotter

You got to hand it to PAP & SPH whorehouse the way they spin the news.

Yesterday : Ng is among the top 3.

Today : Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean congratulated Mr Ng on a well-run campaign.

WTF well-run. He just buy 6 supporters and that is that.

im so gald he didn't win... if he did, we would have head NO END of it

Smart Sinkies would have known by now that the Straits Times is controlled by the state.

Stoopig Sinkies should realize by now the Straits Times is gabrament's official spin doctor.

Anyway I am very happy Ng Ser Miang was kicked out. It shows the those who did not vote for Ng are smart.

On internationl stge, competency ply second fiddle to politics.

Pap should reflect why Ng got kicked, shittytime was chest thumping as if Ng stodd ANY chance.

LOL.... Same as "everyone has car", teo " well run campaign"

A lost is a lost, idiot!

I'm happy that the Bach guy won the Presidency.. This farking PAP lackey very yaya, he thought with the endorsement from his Pappy Masters he can be the next IOC chief..

Don't think the rest of the world ever heard of him before his Presidency bid.. Ng thinks too highly of himself..

What a joke, this ng ser miang. Before the vote make so much noise as if he is a shoo in. End up with less than 8% of votes. If he is in singapore election, will end up like David sim who got his deposit confiscated.

If ng is elected, he promised to kick start a Olympics for various age groups, from toddlers, kindergarten all the way to retirees. It's a wonder that he even gotten 6 votes with his cock ideas.

Come to think of it, that was what Teo CB said when arsehole doctor lost the Punggol East BE.

Ng Ser Miang overspent by a few hundred million dollars for the Youth Olympic Games, and the PAP consider him a worthy candidate for the IOC Presidency!!???

This man is commendable for using his own marney to host the kiddie games?

Don't forget that priceless expression that he portrayed throughout the entire media conference. That was unforgettable !

For IOC, no way would an Asian stand a chance to be top dog there; whoever is helming the seat he/she only need one thing. Strong finances to run and good connections . Honestly, in sports; how many of these Presidents and Vice Presidents are fueling their passions in their respective sports usually with support of their own finances along side with government support with a string of conditions.

I believe the six votes comes from Asean countries and including himeself. Very easy to work out the maths.

This is a clear indication as to why a run-off in an election is a stupid idea. How can Sergey Bubka, a brilliant Olympic winning pole vaulter, get fewer votes than Ng! Only in run-offs do you get such stupidity.

do you all notice all the papdogs very quiet on this loss. no-one come to lie, to con, to distort or to mislead.

hahahahhahahahaaaaaa................

can even garner full 10 asean members support, not to mention the 15 or so observers.

very embarassing lah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a joke after all the hype but it was to be expected considering his lack of credentials.

Wtf & lol! What a big climbdown for Ng Ser Miang! Reading the PAP-government press, one would have seriously thought he stands a solid chance of winning and yet he garnered only 6 votes in each round; more specifically, joint last in 1st round and a faraway 3rd in the 2nd round. The Duke must be hugely embarrassed! SPH as usual, epic fail plus laughing stock. I'm so happy that the best man won!:D

Give that man a Tiger....he gt bronze...3rd place...thats a huge achievement....considering my idol Bubka is last...:D
