How come gahment biz controls and audits fail to spot fraud like NKF, CHC, SLA???

How come our much vaulted gahment controls fail to uncover fraud cases like NKF, CHC, SLA or even the Brompton bike case?? Why does it take a whistle blower to uncover the cases??? In the NKF, it was a plumber who blew the whistle after seeing the 'gold taps' in Durai's office. In the other cases, it took un-named whistle blowers to discover the fraud...and in the CHC, the level of shamigans really blew my mind away. I am sure the auditors or the Com of Charities don't have a clue what 'round-tipping' means!!

This really calls into question of the level of corruption in Singapore. If the relevant ministries cannot spot, if our audits cannot uncover, and all these shady deals goes undercover into areas where the authorities dont even know existed....then the notion that there is little corruption in Singapore is really just an illusion.

If it weren't for the whistle-blowers, we probably wont know anything either!!!

Remember Durai sued this guy who accused him of traveling first class & won? SLA was a biggie, there were so many people involved definitely.....there more 'woodworms' infestation...as another court case will be coming up soon...
 
There may be more court cases coming up. But is it due to another whistle-blower complaints or was it uncovered during a audit or inspection!! The level of sophistication in the fraud cases are very high and I am sure undetectable by current biz audits or inspection.

How to do a proper checks? when once thieves are the police & the police are once thieves?? ha ha ha h

Yeah!! Everyone in cahoots with each other. All audits and reports signed off swee swee!! Nobody the wiser!! Except u get gold taps in charity offices, pastors living in Sentosa Cove and gahment deputy directors (actually low middle managers) earning less than $10k driving lambos !
 
The biggest corruption scam of any country is very often those that keep telling the whole nation that they are clean and keep paying themselves millions of dollars to manage billions. All crows are black in this world.
 
simple. in our society like many others. look good, act good, name drop, etc $$$$$$

then you are automatically a good person, and usually wont be questioned


does help if you can hob non and name drop VIP names as well

Crow that come in white are those who put on a white uniform that keep claiming they always "come clean".
In actual fact, they are the darkest breed of crow you ever seen.
