It is also a pity - because in terms of demeanour, style, and looks, he beats his former boss Kee Chiu hands down. The initial arrogance that he displayed notwithstanding during the hustings, he has shown himself to be hypocritical and not living up to his proclaimed aim of changing the system from within the system, when he announced his candidacy. A loser in the making, like Vivian B.

Your reading is quite good. I would say he has failed dismally on the issue of employment for Sporns.
But on FT issues I don't think he differs that much from the general thrust of govt policy. Of course the 2 issues are linked.
