  Yahoo! Newsroom - The COE price for goods vehicles and buses hit a record high in the latest bidding exercise.

The certificate of entitlement (COE) price for goods vehicles and buses hit a record high on Wednesday in the latest bidding exercise.

It rose to S$71,001, up from the previous high of S$68,251.

COE premiums for small cars and the open category also ended higher.

For small cars, the price closed at S$76,223, up from S$75,556, while the premium for the open category rose to S$79,223 from S$77,989.

The price for big cars ended at S$76,607, down from S$77,600, while the premium for motorcycles fell to S$1,722 from S$1,792.[/TD]
