I visit this site occasionally just to find out what you guys are whining every day. I must say, it’s getting from bad to worse!
You lot are just a bunch of ungrateful Singaporeans. What has Mr Lee done to incur your stinging curse? Mr Lee has every right to publish his book. You can publish yours too if you guys know how to write. Whether people will buy his book or not, let the market decide.
You guys seem to forget that without Mr Lee, you won’t even be here enjoying the high standard of living in Singapore. Look at Myanmar. It became an independent state even earlier than Singapore (1948 if I remember correctly). Look at its standard of living today. Without the PAP and Mr Lee, do you think you guys will be enjoying the high standard of living with great GDP growth today?
Don’t be ingrates. Remember what the government has done for us. If you guys still want to whine, take a trip to visit Myanmar. I was there with my family on holiday and after what I saw, I was counting my blessings everyday that I was born in Singapore and we have a good government.
I know I will be getting flaks from you guys after posting this but I feel I need to speak the truth. Thank you.

If you had put forth your argument on the old scum 20 years ago, I would surely agree with you 100%.
Are you so blind as not to be able to see that sadly, the old scum has transformed himself from being one great statesman to one who is totally unashamed.
He has amassed billions of Dollars for himself and his families, unable to stand up on his own and so near to death and yet he continues to milk the State.
He's not only the world’s oldest MP, he is also the world's only politician who could use the state's money to build a double storey luxurious bungalow on the Palace grounds for himself and his family to reside rent free during the last 40 years.
Slowly, but surely the wheel turns: Three of the many who were incarcerated by the scum, namely Lim Chin Siong, Dr Lim Hock Siew & JBJ were able to live up to the end in dignity compared to the sorry state of the old & no shamed old scum.
