Teacher found dead in Queenstown....

A young Irish teacher was found dead in her apartment in Queenstown on Wednesday night.

The police received a call at 10.59pm that night requesting assistance at a residential unit along Stirling Road, said a spokesman.

"Upon arrival, a female in her 20s was found lying motionless at the said location. She was subsequently pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene," she added.

Police have classified the case as an unnatural death and are investigating.

Other reports said she worked in marketing and sales at the Singapore Private Aircraft Conference and Expo. And also an up and coming DJ. Gosh she was such a talent! And pretty too. What a waste.

Prior to her death, Miss Daly had told friends on Twitter that she "couldn't be happier" and was "loving it so much over here".

She also wrote that "everything had fallen into place".

Meanwhile, tributes for her poured in on her Facebook page, with one friend saying that he would always remember her smile.

toxicology studies might help to determine the cause of death....

It is understood that officers do not suspect foul play in the tragic death of up-and-coming DJ Orla Daly (25), who was originally from Clontarf in Dublin.

One line of inquiry they are pursuing is that she may have suffered an adverse reaction to something she consumed and toxicology tests are being performed to establish if this is the case.
