A young Irish teacher was found dead in her apartment in Queenstown on Wednesday night.
The police received a call at 10.59pm that night requesting assistance at a residential unit along Stirling Road, said a spokesman.
"Upon arrival, a female in her 20s was found lying motionless at the said location. She was subsequently pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene," she added.
Police have classified the case as an unnatural death and are investigating.
