When it comes to the crunch, humans eat their own kind in order to survive too. Thankfully, LKY has given you a good life to the point where you have never had to face such a situation.

LKY did not create these opportunities for me. He put forth a path in the hopes that SG will survive in SEA, and it worked.

It could have failed, but it worked. The opportunities that I got, were not a direct response from his politics alone. The ppl of SG worked together to make it work FOR not him alone, but for all of SG. Yes, he might have that idea of how SG should progress into.. but think back on the failed poliicies too.. "stop at 2", "grads couples to have mre babies".. Along the way, he may have set the pace.. but he sure as hell did not do it ALONE.. and although SG is what it is today partly because of what he had started, not everything that is today.. is because of HIM.

So.. no.. I don't owe him anything. He stepped forward to take a lead role to shape SG into a model of Economic success.. nobody forced him to.
