Unfortunately we are importing 3rd rate foreigners who are even worse than locals. The top class and 2nd level foreigners will choose to go to the US, Europe or Australia, rather than Singapore. SG can only attract trash.

That arsehole has been at this for a long time. His pro PAP drivel has morphed into a blatant disregard for the less fortunate in society. Some people simply do not choose to be poor or to suffer from some other physical or mental difficulties. They were forced upon it by circumstances. A compassionate society should help these people.

The reason why he has become such a person is because he speculated in property during the '80s, made it rich, and then moved to New Zealand. I asked my friend why he fired him and was told that during his 5 days on the job, he showed up half and hour late on 3 and not at all on one and did nothing but complain daily that the tasks he was assigned like raking leaves and pruning branches was hurting his back. However, his back seemed to give him no trouble when he played rugby with his friends on weekends.

Don't worry about the poor. Once they realise that society does not owe them a living, they'll buck up in no time.

When it comes to the crunch, humans eat their own kind in order to survive too. Thankfully, LKY has given you a good life to the point where you have never had to face such a situation.
