Let's say that the SAF were to issue a recall order asking all NSmen to report for an operations briefing.

The objective of the operation will be:

- To land troops in Sumatra
- To encircle and seize all "hot spots" and plantations that have been set on fire
- To actively take steps to put out the fires (with air support from RSAF and firefighting support from SCDF)
- To arrest any individual who is still carrying out burning
- To arrest any individual who attempts to escape (e.g. local officials who have been bribed by the agriculture companies)
- To prevent TNI from taking possession of the territory in case the Indonesian government lets the culprits go free

WOULD YOU RESPOND?

Would you be willing to take up arms in order to provide a deterrent response where the diplomats, civil servants, NEA chief executive, the Foreign Affairs Minister, the Environment Minister and the Prime Minister have all failed?

Would you be willing to stand up for the health and livelihood of your families and friends?

use of lethal force authorized?

That is a secondary issue. Once they give you a SAR 21 rifle and live ammo (including grenades), it doesn't quite matter whether use of lethal force is authorised. It is up to each and every soldier to obey orders, and to face the consequences of not doing so.

Will you respond if there is a recall order?

Pinky will order his civil servant scholars to do a cost/benefit analaysis. If the operation is PROFITABLE ,he will give the greenlight .

Indonesians and the PAP government are equally to be blamed.
We need to launch a coup overthrow PAP then we deal with the indonesians.

As someone had mentioned earlier, mollycoddling Indonesia has been an entrenched diplomatic relic from the LKY-Suharto era.

When he goes and when the PAP falls, that will change.

That supreme commander (LHL) who used to be the high ranking ex-SAF chief needs to lead by example first.
If he dare to lead his men to wage war against Indo Chief on the front line, only then we talk about responding or not.

Otherwise, if that joker only knows how to "play chess" and talk of "strategy only on paper" in the command centre, no point we Sillyporeans support him blindly.
