I tried very hard for the past 21 days to be a real man by switching from iPhone 5 to Samsung Note 2. Finally I still cannot forget my iPhone 5, the way it feels in my hands, the speed it respond to my needs whenever I want it, the sensitivity to my touch, the seamless connection wit all my other equipment etc etc. I've bloody wasted 19,990 baht + 2,100 baht for a nice cover. But it's ok, as long as I'm back to my beloved iPhone 5.

And I am a Note 2 user..its abit hard to use but I got the hang of it,,and i have never used Gayphone so dont know the appeal,,,but android is ok leh,,dont see the issue,,anyway to each his own, as long as u happy and gay its ok lah,,,,

Currently using iPad for presentation ; iPad mini for reading ; MacAir for daily work ; MacPro for hobbies like photography, home design, music etc, 3 iPhones (Thai, Indon, Starhub), and old 64G iPod plugged in car. Everything runs seamlessly with each other through iTunes, iCloud, Airdrop etc etc. Just cannot get away.

It is a gift to my wife which she give up, end up with iPhone 5.

I try to use it, end up I also give up and bought iPhone 5.

And to conclude, I bought a MacBook Pro and found that I should have use MacBook much much earlier.

I have frens who from iphone 4s went to S3,,and they never look back,,,but if u have ipod, ipad,idiot, etc,,hard to switch to an android platform. For me, i have always used nokia,,than switch to android so i skip all those ishit stuff,,so no probs for me switching to android.

There is nothing wrong with the Note 2 in fact I'll still say Samsung Galaxy range of products is very much more powerful than iPhone in terms of the ability to do many things easily. But habit is habit, difficult to change.

Oh I did not buy the iPhone 5, already using it when I switched to Note 2. You bet I'm damn sure to be one of the first to get hold of a 6 when its available I think next year.

i have both platforms. it comes down to optimal or minimum touch, pinch and swipe finger motions. the s3 android experience is not optimal. for example, to use the camera, there's a soft camera icon at the bottom right together with 3 other "shortcut" icons. and you think "wow! so convenient. just touch that shortcut icon." wrong. to use it, you have to first swipe the screen to unlock the screen. and when you do just that, the camera icon disappears. before swiping the screen to unlock, you press the camera icon, and it says "swipe shortcut to open applications". duh! how stupid can that be. ok, after unlocking, 5 apps appear at the "shortcut" menu at the bottom, but no camera!

ok, now to access camera, you need to swipe screen first to unlock, touch bottom right apps icon (since camera icon disappears), go to apps screen (but camera icon doesn't show up on middle page, and that's where android will go first, instead of 1st page! how stupid!) and swipe a few screens before finding the damned camera icon. ok, that's not the end of it. camera icon is usually preprogrammed to be on 1st page. you finally find the camera icon. touch it, and what happens? instead of opening camera, the tip message appears "tap and hold....blah blah blah". must touch "ok" to proceed. if you miss or ignore the "don't show again" checkbox, the tip message will reappear everytime you think you can quicksnap the camera. what is google and samsung thinking? they think we are novices and don't know how to use touch devices? got to give tips and teach us how to use? bunch of bozos.

i took more pics with my iphone than with my s3 due to clumsy android experience, especially when quickness and efficiency are required. such as in an opportune moment with a opportune shot. sometimes you don't get the chance for the shot again. moreover, the contrast and glare on the iphone camera screen while taking a shot is so much more discerning than that on the s3. the ultimate test is taking pics in times square both day and night. iphone 5, 5 stars; s3, 3 stars.
