When old man was ruling the roost, there was a special department within PWD at Kallang that attended to anything that he saw and complained about. Then they became proactive and started to check his calendar on the quiet and started to fix up potholes etc along roads that he used to travel. Then some people got wind off of it and began phoning the department and providing details of all their problems well before his visit.

Now days no one seems to care.
