Those starbucks ones' is just to chop these Carrot Heads who date their Chabors just to Look good..
;)

Should try the OWL brand white coffee with GULA MELAKA, one of the better ones & support Singapore product! Not made in China or Malaysia!

Im no coffee drinker but the better coffee are the ones that are freshly roasted and brewed. The mix type in sachets are crap.

There used to be a traditional coffee bean shop near my place. There would be rows upon rows of coffee beans in aluminium biscuit tins, and the people inside would be roasting, grinding and packing the coffee beans. The fragrance of coffee invades your nostrils whenever you walked past the shop.

Ah those were the good old days. Noisy live chickens in wet markets, sand and concrete playgrounds.

I used to buy loose coffee from this shop in Clementi, they can mix the beans and then grind for you. I think it is near central.
Wonder if it is still there?

how does one prepare the coffee for this type of bean from the traditional coffee bean shop?

percolator, espresso machine, sock strainer, french press?

Interesting question. I thought of going daiso, buy the empty sachet bag for tea, put the kopi powder inside and than tie the bag and dump it into a boiling water before serving with 2 cube of sugar. Not sure my method is correct, never tried before.

When I use locally bought loose coffee powder, I use French press.
Not tried with espresso maker. Not sure how the fat/oil used to roast the beans will act up, so never tried.
