Is it a norm that the condo/apartment in Malaysia do not have a rubbish chute? I checked with some of the sales people before and they said the chute is fire harzard and they are not allowed to build. Any brothers or sisters know?[/QUOTE]

hi Jade,..I'm not too sure about the rubbish chute thingy in Msia, sorry.
Have You already bought anything into the East ledang Community ?

This EL estate really reminds me of Wattern Estate in the early 70's - when my old man was offered a 3-story corner semi-d along wattern estate road for sgd 35 k, back in 1972.

For the youngsters with a bit of spare cash and about 20-30 years of money-earning time to go,...selective properties in Malaysia is the way to go.

I pray that the locals will improve on the maintenance regime, though,..but it's worth the chance,.....

No, I bought one apartment in Sky Loft and one house in Horizon Hills. I would like to have more, especially East Ledang but limited resources. I kept asking husband to buy, he already said he is drowning with the debts.

Does anyone know,..whose House is this ?
Location: Ledang Heights
I estimate house age to be about 5 years
Why are there still so many plots of land - with no houses built ?

it really IS a challenge - to maintain properties (or any other physical possessions, for that matter,..) - after a while,...

A group of Japanese investors bought over all the remaining lots in Ledang Heights... either waiting for appreciation or some future plans i guess.

Hi Mu8811,
Everything connected. All OK, except that the Developers are slow, in doing rectifying works to some minor bugs.

Which Floor are You at ? Maybe we can meet for kopi at the nice, free-wi-fi placce at Anjung neighbourhood,....

I attach another picture - for the this community's information,...

Luckily mine are purple  I think they look nicer and brighter than my P2 Semi-D(I mentioned 'my' not to hao lian lah, just don't want P2 owners to feel offended thinking that I talk bad about their units)

I ask this question at every apartment sales office. It is quite normal to have manual removal of rubbish from the collection point on each floor, like Singapore offices. So far only Tropez at Danga Bay told me that they have a mechanical chute that sucks rubbish out to a central collection point outside the estate.

Thanks . Manual removal of rubbish is so unpleasant . If the residents anyhow throw the rubbish the whole place will be stink . :(

Wow! That was quick. What did you sell? Ujana or the Bungalow? Mind sharing the psf if you feel comfortable? Just trying to get an idea of the resale price.
