Three Million Singaporeans...

Singaporeans may not agree with the PAP but the PAP knows what is good for Singapore because they can see the big picture.

The ordinary citizen is only concerned about himself. He does not consider the greater good.

PAP politicians are no different from politicians elsewhere. They put their self-interests first. I am surprised that you buy their bs about serving the country.

The big picture they see is that they need foreigners to keep the property market up. If the property market goes bust, the CPF goes into default, GIC and Temasek will be in trouble as well.

The bulk of the 3 million are from an ethnic group which is foreign to the region in the first place so I don't see a big deal.

A densely populated Singapore will be great for the economy.

You can have 10 million people, consumption will still be insufficient to generate growth.

Foreigners is a drain to the economy as they remit billions out ...money when spent in singapore would have created jobs.

well said..you are very wise and you saw through pap's lies.

we need more singaporeans like you.

the businesses and foreigners love the pap because it helps them make money at the expense of Singaporeans and future well being of SG.

The pap is helping foreigners to bankrupt singapore and singaporeans.

in future we will see a heavily indebted and enslaved SG population . is that good for Singaporeans?

And what gives you the idea that WP politicians are of a different breed?

Put them in power and you'll see a continuation of the same old shit.

this is classic
who is in power will dictate the history
those who are weak will suffer under those with power and influence
the powerful ones will get more power
the richer ones will get richer
history keeps repeating itself...a vicious cycle....
this burning house...this samsara...get out of this house as quickly as possible...

If the WP gets into power it will be because Singaporeans see no hope in the current regime. It is ludicrous for a government to have to assure citizens that they are on the side of the native population. Firstly, that should be so obvious it need not be said. Secondly, if you have to keep saying that , it is because actions don't show it. I am willing to bet at least a small majority of Singaporeans think the WP will put Singaporeans interests first. The test will be one of competence. As for the farsightedness of the current government, if you cannot tell ramping up the total population is going to strain the infrastructure and raise costs, it's fair for the people to question competence. If the MRT cannot take the load, the bus system could have been expanded to help. Building additional accommodation was completely within their means. That does not need 20/20 foresight. Even 10/20 would have worked. very few want to see the PAP go but they do not want their kid's lives to be a needless struggle. People will fight when they see their leaders fighting alongside them. I am afraid we will reach a tipping point soon.

when singapore merged into malaysia, tengu abdul rahman said he will turn singapore into the manhattan of asia. So it does not matter who rules singapore, the fate is the same, whether it is british, malay ot chinese.

you cant stop them, new citizens will vote PAP, so they never lose their power.

i am glad that you admit pap is shit.

now you understand why so many Singaporeans are protesting against shit?

after one has suffered shit, anything else is better.

I can confidently say that WP is gg to be better than PAP

a point will be reached when the proletariat will rebel against their oppressors. Singapore is reaching that stage soon..

Does the pap know that it has to be on Singaporeans' side? obviously it doesnt and thought it can reassure singaporeans with words alone
