Now the same person is telling us there is enough capacity for so many foreigners the PAP intends to import. Let me ask you what does this say about the value system of PAP? It is profits and growth above the people even people who spend their whole life building S'pore, if they grow old and poor and their children cannot afford to supprt them, they end up in Malaysia. A few months back you remember an old age home in JB, Malaysia complained that some S'poreans had not paid up the fees but the old age home cannot just evict these people or send them back to S'pore because there is no support for them here. Then the reporter trace the family of these old folks found that they are all facing financial hardship and it burns their heart to do this to their own parents but they had no choice some lost their jobs, others have no money left after monthly expenses but the PAP govt just refuses to care for our old folks.

There is not enough space for our old folks in Singapore but the govt can make plenty of space create so much infrastructure to support foreigners to come. These words are from the same mouth of one man. ...he is called a leader and we are suppose to trust.

Singapore needs useful and productive members of society. That's why it is keen on importing foreigners as Singaporeans aren't producing enough of this category.

On the other hand, old folks are nothing but a burden. They need to be disposed of as efficiently as possible.

There's nothing inherently wrong with this philosophy. It's part of the passage of life.

Thank goodness you self exported to NZ, Sam. LHL should cite you as model ex-citizen during his national day rally.

Thanks to advance medical care make people live longer and one has live pass 90s and still get chap gor cheng a month for doing nothing in Singapore parliament.

Filial piety at the highest moral of one country never seen before which is not even your father but somone else father.

One pass 60 y.o PM have to take care of his 90yo father and pay his father chap gor cheng from tax payers account, hor say man.

With many fellas passing age 60yo having take care of their ageing parents who have live pass 80s-90s is a big burden to the family. 2 medical bills to pay and medicare savings can be wipe out easily, leaving the 60yo nothing left when he reached 80-90y.o.

WTF!

Let me give you guys some things to think about. Our MRT routes are single track per way.
SMRT likes to give incomplete bennchmark matrices. Below are the average weekday passenger ridership per kilometre of tracks.

13,045 passengers/weekday km (2001)
50,866 passenger/weekday km (2012)

That is a 389.9% increase in load on the entire track. Running a train on a track is banging, scratching and bending the tracks. You increase this by 389.9%. Not to mention the intensity is different for densely visited parts of Singapore. You tell me.

And sinkapore has the most efficient method of getting rid of unproductive people. In sinkapore, you are deemed old if you are unemployed at the age of 40. If you can be replaced by a foreigner, you join the group of old folks.
Now, the next phase of the National Population Plan should focus on getting rid of the old folks - maybe like building a new power station powered by the burning of old sinkees.

Those who have lots of money and influence are welcome to carry on living till they're 100.

However, those who are burden should check out sooner rather than later.

PAP would be gone by 2016,and the ruling party, offers free MPs,-FOC for the honour of looking after your constituency.

Khaw is a stupid person. There is no need to say anything. According to the theory of evolution people will evolve and change and those who cannot afford will find a way either overseas or otherwise. Why is there a need to even speak if its deemed disadvantage to oneself? Strange this idiot.
