OK too small a group.

But:

Sylvia: Shadow PM, DPM (MHA) and Law (Shamu)
LTK: Shadow Manpower and MND
Pritam: Shadow MFA and Defence (he seems to love asking questions to Shamu anyway)
Faisal: Muslim Affairs (duh) and MCYS (related) (now three ministries but whatever)
CSM: Finance (don't tell me he can't do that) and perhaps Trade and Industry
PEH: Transport and Env and Water

Not sure if NCMPs can be part of Shadow.

This doesn't cover all Singapore Ministries and all cabinet ministers but in works to cover the made ministries.
 
My question - now WP has 7. Total opp MP + NCMP (YJJ, GG, LC) exceeds 9.
What happens? Will one NCMP go?
 
There is nothing in the consitution that says that an NCMP must go if it exceeds 10.
So unless someone goes through Hansard and find something clarified during the debate when the bill was tabled, then all 3 NCMPs should keep their seats.

Yup. NCMPs only come in a GE. They can't be removed halfway unless they have a scandal.
 
What do you guys say for this? WP needs to start a Shadow Cabinet

Altho I would think CSM would be a better law min than Sylvia given his backgrd in int'l m&a deals.

Someone has to deal with finance, one of the most important issues in SG. Tharman has it too easy. Same with Defence, Ng Eng Hen says nothing much.
 
Any party can form their own shadow cabinet. There is just no official recognition for it.
